He Korowai Oranga sets the direction for Maori health development in the health and disability sector for the next five to 10 years. Accompanying the strategy is Whakatataka: Maori Health Action Plan 2002-2005, which outlines what the Government will do to implement the strategy.

Community Project Indicators Framework
The CPIF has been developed to help those who are funding or undertaking a community project in the health sector to monitor their progress.

The NZGG leads a movement towards the delivery of high quality health and disability services throughout New Zealand through a change in culture based on evidence and effectiveness.

Public Health World Wide Networking Project
This project promotes collaboration and networking across a range of public health sectors. A community development approach is taken. The project includes a Maori Models section. The network is a project of the Social and Health Outcomes, Research and Evaluation (SHORE) centre, Massey University, funded by the Ministry of Health.
